This exceptional hand-knotted Persian rug is a Nain, named after the city in the Isfahan Province of central Iran, reflecting both its origin and its iconic design. Nain rugs are renowned for their intricate classic patterns, high knot density, and exceptional quality. While Nain-inspired designs are produced in countries like India, Pakistan, and China—and even other parts of Iran—the value and authenticity of a true Nain can vary by up to 50% depending on its origin.

This rug is an authentic Nain, accompanied by an official Certificate of Origin issued by the Chamber of Commerce at the time of import, guaranteeing its authenticity, premium quality, and fair market value.

It is crafted from approximately 85% kurk (lamb wool) with 15% silk and cotton weft, creating a soft yet durable surface. With a knot density of 361 knots per square inch and a total area of 4,959 square inches, this rug contains an astonishing 1,790,199 knots.
