Persian Handmade Rug

This Persian hand-knotted rug is known as Turkman, that refers to the design and the area where it is made. Turkman Sahra is in the North east of Iran. Turkman handmade carpets are well-known for fine quality of materials and simple patterns.

This rug is made of mainly pure fine wool with some silk and wool weft in a high density of knots. Brand new.

Medallion diamond-shape with four flower vases on four sides,  two flower pots up and down, animals all around and a main border with pine tree motif, flowers and animals.
