This beautiful Persian hand-knotted carpet is known as Kashan, Kashan is the name of an ancient city in the central part of Iran(about 200k south of capital Tehran) and it is one of the main worldwide-known centres that has achieved the best popularity for producing fine quality and unlimited designs of handmade rugs and carpets for over centuries. Because of this popularity, copy of kashan-design rugs and carpets is produced in India, Egypt, China and Pakistan.
