This beautiful handmade Persian runner is known as Balouchi, that refers to the area where it is made. Balouchestan is a province in the south east of Iran. Balouchi rugs are famous for their intricate patterns, natural dye, hardwearing and long lasting.
Although this rug is already about 60 years old, it is in a very good condition for its age. Its pile has gone done but it has not affected its pattern. It is cleaned professionally before importing and it is imported by “Heaven on Earth imports”.
