Handmade Persian Runner

This beautiful hand-knotted Persian Turkman runner takes its name from the region where it is traditionally crafted. Turkman Sahra, located in the northeast of Iran, is one of the main centres for producing authentic handmade Persian carpets and rugs.

Turkman rugs are well known for their simple yet striking patterns, fine-quality materials, and exceptional durability. They are valued for being hardwearing, long-lasting, and suitable for everyday use, while showcasing the beauty of traditional Persian craftsmanship.

The design of this runner is known as “Frame.” Within each frame are decorative motifs inspired by traditional women’s jewellery, such as earrings, necklaces, and beads, giving the rug a unique cultural and artistic character.

This runner is made from 100% pure fine wool, providing both softness and durability. It is brand new and has been carefully imported by Heaven on Earth Imports.

For authenticity and peace of mind, we provide a copy of the Certificate of Origin issued by the Chamber of Commerce at the time of import, confirming that this runner is a genuine Persian handmade rug.
