Handmade Persian Rug

This beautiful hand-knotted Persian rug is a Mahal, named after the town in western Iran where it is traditionally crafted. Mahal rugs are renowned for being exceptionally hardwearing and long-lasting, valued for both their strength and timeless character.

This rug is made with a pure wool pile and a cotton weft and fringe, ensuring durability while maintaining a soft and comfortable texture. Although approximately 50 years old, it remains in very good condition, with its soft pile beautifully preserved.

The rug has been professionally cleaned prior to import by Heaven on Earth Imports and is ready to be enjoyed immediately in its new home.
