Handmade Persian Kelim Rug

This beautiful handmade Persian Kilim rug is woven by artisans from the Qashghai tribal federation, one of the most renowned weaving communities in Iran. The Qashghai today consist of a confedaracy of tribes, mainly turkish in origin, but with some Fars, Kurd and Arab blood.  They live in the province of Fars March to September and in the province of  Hormozgan from September to March.

Crafted from 100% pure wool, this kilim reflects the authentic tribal artistry and cultural heritage of the Qashghai weavers.

Although this rug is approximately 60 years old, it remains in excellent condition. It has been professionally cleaned prior to import, ensuring it is ready to enhance any home.
