Handmade Persian Gabbeh Rug

This cheerful handmade Persian Gabbeh rug is woven in the province of Fars in southern Iran, a region well known for its traditional tribal rug weaving.

Gabbeh rugs are unique because they are typically woven without a pre-drawn pattern. Instead, the weavers create the design from memory and inspiration, often reflecting the natural surroundings and everyday life of the tribal communities who make them. This gives each Gabbeh rug its individual character and artistic charm.

This rug is handwoven using 100% pure fine wool, providing a soft texture while remaining durable and long-lasting. The wool is naturally dyed, giving the rug rich colours and an authentic traditional appearance.

The rug is brand new and has been imported by Heaven on Earth Imports. A copy of the Certificate of Origin issued by the Chamber of Commerce will be provided, confirming its authenticity at the time of import.
