This exquisite handmade Persian carpet is a true Kashan, named after the historic city of Kashan where it is crafted. For centuries, Kashan has earned an outstanding reputation for producing some of the finest handmade rugs and carpets in the world, admired for their exceptional quality and timeless designs.

Because of this prestige, Kashan-inspired patterns are widely reproduced in India, Pakistan, and China, as well as within Iran in the town of Ardakan in Yazd Province. In terms of value, an original Kashan carpet is typically at least 20% more expensive than those produced in Ardakan and at least 45% more valuable than similar designs woven in other countries — reflecting its superior craftsmanship, materials, and heritage.

This carpet features a classic medallion design, a hallmark of traditional Kashan artistry. It is woven with a pure, fine wool pile on a durable cotton weft (including the fringe), ensuring both beauty and longevity.
