This elegant handmade runner rug, known as a Moud Rug, takes its name from the town of Moud in eastern Iran, an area well known for producing finely crafted Persian carpets.

The rug features the traditional Mahi Design (meaning “fish”), one of the most recognised and admired patterns in Persian carpet weaving. This intricate repeating design creates a beautifully balanced and detailed appearance that suits both classic and modern interiors.

The pile is made mainly from pure, fine wool, with a touch of silk woven into the design to add subtle sheen and refinement. The rug is constructed with a cotton weft foundation, providing strength, durability, and long-lasting quality.

This rug is brand new and has been imported by Heaven on Earth Imports. To guarantee authenticity, we provide a copy of the Certificate of Origin issued by the Chamber of Commerce at the time of import, confirming that it is a genuine Persian rug from Iran.
